The long-awaited release of Season 2 is just around the corner. We took a few weeks of downtime to ensure that all of our features were as content-packed and flawless as possible.
FEATURE RELEASE
The Dungeon System
One of Season 2’s largest releases will be the introduction of dungeons. To enter each specific dungeon, you will have to bring a key to a certain NPC. As of the writing of this post, there is one dungeon available: the Spawn Castle.
Access the castle by bringing a Castle Torch to the Castle Guard at Spawn. He’ll bring you to a portal through which you can enter the dungeon. Inside you will find three custom bosses and dozens of other custom mobs. Defeat the bosses and you will receive rewards found nowhere else on the server. But be wary, if you die in the dungeon, you will lose your entire inventory…
Bring two friends along with you or go it alone. The decision is up to you!
We're gonna keep some of the finer details so you can experience it yourself. Good luck, and have fun!
Star Prefixes
Star Prefixes are a brand new cosmetic feature only unlockable through the most difficult of tasks.
Access these stars by winning events, completing missions, or even paying an exorbitant amount of cash. A reward will be waiting at the end!
Revamped Economy
As much as we loved the thousands of cow and rabbit spawners, giant tree farms, and automatic melon farms as last season's sources of cash, those systems were a little bit broken.
We’ve revamped the economy and are introducing four new spawners with custom drops.
Guardian ($2,500,000): Prismarine Shards
Villager ($5,000,000): Emeralds
Magma Cube ($15,000,000): Magma Cream
Witch (cannot purchase in shop): Nether Star
Each of these spawners will drop items more valuable than the last, until you reach the Witch spawner which drops Nether Stars at a price of $1,000 each. Read more below to find out how to access Witch spawners.
Along with spawner changes, we’ve increased the sell price of farming drops in order to keep them as a viable source of income for longer into the season.
The Traveling Merchant
The Merchant is a journeyman from a faraway land, and he comes bearing exclusive gifts. His items (like Witch Spawners!), however, are in limited supply. The more times an item is bought, the more expensive it becomes. Find him quick or else his prices will be too expensive to afford!
The Merchant doesn’t stick to one place. Find him at different places around the warzone, but be careful not to die with his items in your inventory. Every three days, the Merchant’s stock will be refreshed with new items.
Warzone
Last season’s warzone was lacking space. Here comes a brand new map with a beautiful red, orange, and yellow design.
If you want to fight it out with your enemies (or even your island mates), drop to the Warzone and make sure to bring everything you’ve got.
Meteor Strikes
Every few hours, meteors will strike the warzone. Collect them and access the valuable loot they hold inside!
King of The Hill
Fight for your spot on the KOTH in the warzone. Stand in the area long enough, and you’ll receive awesome prizes.
KOTHs will run automatically every single day
Improved Custom Enchantments
We’ve fixed the bugs with custom enchants and added a whole lot more for the new addition of PvP. Find the constantly-updated list of enchants here.
Login Streak Rewards
Log in to the server every day and collect presents from Santa. The longer your streak, the better the rewards.
Furnace Upgrades
A highly-requested feature last season were faster furnaces. In response, we’re introducing furnace upgrades. Increase their speed or even add multipliers to smelting!
Personal and Global Boosters
Feel like you’re earning Crystals, EXP, or Money too slow? With boosters, you’ll never feel that way again. Purchase boosters on our Server Store or from the Crystal Shop to receive multipliers on crystals, experience, or cash.
Redesigned Vote Party
Every time the server receives 50 votes, a vote party will launch automatically and give out all kinds of keys including Royals, Mythicals, and Emperials.
Brand-New Chat Games
We’ve added two new categories of chat games: trivia questions and math problems. Along with unscrambling, be the fastest in chat to answer a question and receive a Reaction Key!
A New Set of Missions
We’ve added two to three levels for each mission category! Be warned, as you go up the levels, you also go up in difficulty.
Perhaps a star will be waiting for you at the end...
